NC govt will fulfill all promises: Sakeena Itoo

Bandipora, Oct 28: The Minister of Health, Education, Medical Education and Social Welfare, Sakeena Itoo on Monday said the National Conference (NC) government is committed to fulfill all promises made to the people of Kashmir.
Speaking to reporters after a review meeting in Sumbal, Bandipora, Itoo said the government is set to introduce a new transfer policy aimed at easing longstanding transfer issues for employees across Jammu and Kashmir. “Many employees have been stationed in challenging zones for years, and we are prioritising their transfers,” she said.
The minister also inaugurated a newly completed auditorium at Government Degree College Sumbal, built at a cost of approximately 10 crore rupees. She was joined by the Director of Higher Education, Tasaduq Wani, MLA Sonawari Advocate Hilal Akbar Lone, and other officials from the education sector.
During her visit to the Community Health Center (CHC) in Hajin, Itoo assessed ongoing projects and assured the public that a dialysis machine, which has been out of service for months, will be operational by Tuesday.
“The elected government is committed to address public concerns. Vacancies in the health department are an issue in every district across Kashmir, and we are actively working to fill these positions,” she added.
