Srinagar, May 30: The Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Party (JKPDP) on Thursday expressed profound sorrow over the demise of Zahid Wasim, father of Zaira Wasim, and Jameela Shafi Wani, cousin of party leader Dr Ali Mohammad Wani and Constituency Incharge of Eidgah Segment.
In a statement, PDP president Mehbooba Mufti extended her deepest condolences to the grieving family, including Dr Ali Mohammad Wani and Zaira Wasim.
A party delegation led by State Secretary Arif Laigaroo, District President Abdul Qayoom Bhat and other members visited the residences of the bereaved families in Hawal and Saidapora. They offered their sympathies and prayers for the eternal peace of the departed souls during this time of mourning.
