Jailed Member of Parliament (MP) Baramulla Engineer Rashid has been moved to Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital in New Delhi after his health deteriorated due to an ongoing hunger strike in Tihar Jail.
Apni Party chief Altaf Bukhari expressed deep concern over Er. Rashid’s condition, extending his thoughts and prayers for the MP’s swift recovery. “It is imperative that his case is resolved without delay to uphold justice for this MP, who was elected by half a million people,” Bukhari stated.
Er. Rashid, a prominent political figure from Jammu and Kashmir, has been in custody since 2019 on charges linked to alleged terror funding.
