Three injured in road accident on SSG road near Kullan Gund

Ganderbal, July 20: A road accident occurred on the SSG Road near Zero Point Kullan in Gund area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Saturday, resulting in injuries to three persons.Reports said the mishap took place when an Innova vehicle (bearing registration number JK03D-1473) collided with a scooty (bearing registration number JK016B-9381), leaving the rider and two pillion passengers injured.The injured have been identified as Azhar Rashid War (17), son of Ab Rashid War, resident of Manigam, Ganderbal, Faizan Nabi (18), son of Gh Nabi Rather, resident of Manigam, Ganderbal, Hashim Ahmad (21), son of Bashir Ahmad Shah, resident of Ganderbal.All the injured were immediately shifted to PHC Kullan for medical aid. However, Hashim Ahmad, due to the severity of his injuries, was referred to Bone and Joint Hospital Barzulla, Srinagar for specialized treatment.Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway.
