Srinagar, April 24: In response to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, the Jammu and Kashmir Cable Car Corporation has announced full refunds for all unscanned and no-show Gulmarg Gondola tickets for dates between April 22 and April 30, 2025.
Additionally, tourists who cancel their bookings online during this period will also be eligible for a full refund. This move is aimed at reassuring travelers and restoring their confidence in the Valley, ensuring their comfort during a challenging time.
The decision comes in the wake of the tragic attack in Pahalgam, with authorities taking proactive measures to support the tourism sector. This initiative has been widely appreciated by both visitors and the local tourism industry.
Qamar Sajad, Managing Director of the J&K Cable Car Corporation, stated, “The decision to offer refund relaxations is part of our continuous effort to promote responsible and people-friendly tourism. Gulmarg continues to see strong tourist traffic, and we want every visitor to feel valued and supported during this difficult time.”
