Power Shutdown in Kashmir parts; Check areas here

According to the Chief Engineer JKPTCL, Kashmir, in order to carry out commissioning of the Bus Bar protection at 320 MVA, 220/132 KV, 160 MVA, the Transformer Bank-I, of Grid Station Alusteng, 33KV Wussan, Safapora, Kangan, USHP-I &II, Lal Bazar, BAMK, Hazratbal, Ellahibagh, Lar-Tullmulla, Ajar, Aloosa, Gurez, Zakura, Power House and Nagbal Feeders falling under 220/132 KV Grid Station Alusteng element shall be affected due to which power supply to Wussan, Safapora, Kangan, Lal Bazar, BAMK, Hazratbal, Ellahibagh, Lar-Tullmulla, Ajar, Aloosa, Gurez, Zakura, Nagbal and adjoining areas shall remain off from 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM on 20 March, 2025.

Also in this connection, Wussan, Safapora, Kangan, USHP-I &II, Lal Bazar, BAMK, Hazratbal, Ellahibagh, Lar-Tullmulla, Ajar, Aloosa, Gurez, Zakura, Power House, Nagbal Feeders falling under 220/132 KV, 160 MVA, Transformer Bank-II, of Grid Station Alusteng element shall be affected due to which power supply to Wussan, Safapora, Kangan, Lal Bazar, BAMK, Hazratbal, Ellahibagh, Lar-Tullmulla, Ajar, Aloosa, Gurez, Zakura, Nagbal and adjoining areas shall remain off from 01:00 PM to 05:00 PM on 20 March, 2025.

Similarly, in order to carry out replacement of existing wooden damaged poles by new ST poles, the shutdown of 33KV Pattan-Amargarh line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Pattan, Palhalan and Hamray shall remain off while power supply to Pattan, Zangam, Burn, Nihalpora, Pattan Hospital, Palhalan, Hamray warinam, and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:30 AM to 03:00 PM on 17 & 19 March, 2025.

Also in this connection, the shutdown of 33KV HMT line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at HMT Singhpora, Nihalpora, Mirgund and Shadipora shall remain off while power supply to Singhpora, Mirgund Diver, Skuast, SSM College, and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:30 AM to 03:00 PM on 18 & 20 March, 2025

Similarly, to carry out erection of 11 Mtr ST pole, the shutdown of 33KV Bandipora line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Waltab, Tujjar and Dooru shall remain off while power supply to the Waltab, Tujjar, Dooru and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:30 AM to 03:00 on 17 & 19 March, 2025.

Also due to the same reason, the shutdown of 33KV Arampora line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Arampora, Panzipora, Sheer Colony and Bugoo shall remain off while power supply to Arampora, Panzipora, Sheer Colony, Bugoo and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:30 AM to 03:00 PM on 19 March, 2025.

Further, to carry out erection of 13 Mtr ST pole and installation of 11KV Isolator, the shutdown of 33KV Achabal-Nowpora tap line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Achabal shall remain off while power supply to Achabal and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:30 AM to 03:00 PM on 24 March, 2025.

Moreover, to carry out erection of ST poles for stabilization of line, the shutdown of 33KV Dolipora line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Tarathpora, Dolipora and Magam shall remain off while power supply to Tarathpora, Kalmoona, Vilgam, Magam, Neelipora, Geeripora, Dolipora, and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:30 AM to 03:00 PM on 17 & 18 March, 2025.

Likewise, to carry out erection of ST poles for stabilization line, the shutdown of 33KV Gulmarg line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Tangmarg, Gulmarg and Kulhama shall remain off while power supply to Tangmarg, Gulmarg, Kulhama and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:30 AM to 03:00 PM on 19 March, 2025.

In order to carry out stabilization and erection of poles and preventive maintenance of 33 KV Pampore-Lethpora line, the shutdown of 33KV Pampore-Lethpora line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Konibal, Lethpora, LIS-Lethpora and Mills shall remain off while power supply to Samboora, Lethpora, Patalbagh, Chandhara, Konibal, Dusoo and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on 16 March, 2025.

Also in this connection, the shutdown of 33KV LIS Lethpora Tap line of Pampore-Lethpora line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at LIS Lethpora & Mills shall remain off while power supply to LIS Ladoo-I &II &III and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM on 18, 20 &22 March, 2025.
