Jammu, Mar 15: In a significant event held in Jammu, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed the Leadership Engagement program, gathering Heads of Premier Institutions from across the country. The 5-day program aims to deliberate on various themes aligned with the objectives outlined in the National Education Policy 2020, with a focus on developing effective academic leaders.
During his address, the Lt Governor underscored the importance of adopting best practices and setting new standards in technical education. He highlighted the unpredictable nature of the current global landscape, marked by geopolitical tensions juxtaposed with unprecedented technological advancements.
Reflecting on India’s rapid development over the past decade under the leadership of Prime Minister NarendraModiji, the Lt Governor expressed optimism about India leading the next big revolution. He emphasized the need for a futuristic roadmap to drive reforms across diverse sectors, ultimately establishing India as a Knowledge economy and reclaiming its historical prominence.
Furthermore, the Lt Governor stressed the significance of aligning educational initiatives with the evolving needs of industries, particularly focusing on the Science and Technology sector to realize the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.
