DC Poonch releases relief under JKRAVF

Poonch, July 21: In a compassionate initiative aimed at providing financial relief to the families affected by the road accidents, Deputy Commissioner Poonch Vikas Kundal today handed over compensation cheques to the legal heirs of deceased road accident victims under the Jammu & Kashmir Road Accident Victim Fund (JKRAVF).As per a statement issued here, cheques amounting to Rs 1 lakh each were given to the families of deceased victims- Parveen Begum, W/o Mohammad Ayob resident of Arai, Mandi,  Bilal Ahmed, S/o Jamal Din, resident of Chamber Kinari Mandi, Mohd Zahir, S/o Mohd Javid, resident of Bandi Chechian Tehsil Haveli, Shakeel Bi, W/o Mohammad Mushtaq, resident of Ghani, Tehsil Mankote, Mohammad Hanief, S/o Mohd Sher, resident of Ghani, Tehsil Mankote and Noor Hussain, S/o Abdullah, resident of Kasbalari, Tehsil Mankote.
