Bandipora, July 04: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri, on Friday chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the progress and implementation of the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) in the district. As per a statement issued here, the scheme launched by the Government of India in July 2021, aims to enhance the quality and reliability of power supply to consumers by improving operational efficiency in the distribution system and minimizing Aggregate Technical and Commercial (AT&C) losses. The Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed division-wise review, focusing on key components of RDSS, including metering, distribution infrastructure, project management and other related activities. The meeting also discussed the physical progress of works such as the replacement of damaged electric poles, survey activities, feeder bifurcation, and the overall implementation plan across all electric divisions of Bandipora district.During the meeting, Project Coordinator NTPC, Anjum Khursheed, briefed the DC on the comprehensive scope of work under RDSS.
