GGM Science College strengthens global ties with academic visit to Hungary University

Jammu, July 3: Two associate professors from GGM Science College, Jammu — Dr Ajay Singh Dadwal (Convener) and Dr Balwinder Kaur (Co-Convener) of the Research Committee and Institutional Innovation Cell — recently undertook an academic visit to the Institute of Chemistry at ELTE – Loránd Eötvös University, Budapest, Hungary.A statement issued here said that the visit, held from June 17 to June 27, formed part of an interdisciplinary initiative aimed at promoting international academic and research collaboration. During their ten-day engagement, the faculty members participated in a variety of scientific experiments and held in-depth discussions with researchers and scholars at the host institution. The visit was conducted in response to an official invitation extended by ELTE – Loránd Eötvös University, and marks a significant milestone in GGM Science College’s efforts to build strategic academic partnerships abroad. Prof (Dr) Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of GGM Science College, commended the initiative and congratulated the visiting faculty for their active role in enhancing the college’s academic stature on the global stage. He reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to encouraging faculty involvement in such international exchanges, emphasising that these collaborations are vital for fostering innovation, broadening research horizons, and contributing to the college’s academic growth.
