Srinagar: The University of Kashmir has launched new courses within its 4-Year B.Tech Programmes, which include Computer Science Engineering and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science.
An official from the University told Rising Kashmir that these programs will commence in the academic session of 2025. Online applications are now being accepted from eligible candidates for admission into the 4-Year B.Tech Program for the same academic year. At the Institute of Technology, Zakura Campus, Hazratbal, a 4-Year B.Tech Program in Computer Science & Engineering with specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security has been introduced.Additionally, at the North Campus in Delina, Baramulla, a 4-Year B.Tech Program in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science has also been established.
” Candidates who have previously applied for the 4-Year B.Tech program and wish to modify their preferences must update their submitted application form by providing their Application Form Number, Date of Birth, and Cell Number,” official said
He said that the Students who have completed the Higher Secondary Part-II (10+2) examination from any recognized board or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects, achieving at least 50% marks for Open Category and 45% for Reserved Categories, are eligible to apply.
” Candidates who are currently appearing for the qualifying examination (12th) may also apply provisionally at their own risk, provided they meet all eligibility criteria, including obtaining the minimum required percentage by June 5, 2025. Furthermore, it is mandatory for students to have taken the JEE (Mains) Examination 2025, as selection for the program will be based on the percentile score achieved by the candidate,” official said.
