Paras Health Srinagar marks one year of transformative healthcare services

Srinagar, Aug 16: Paras Health Srinagar, which commenced operations in June 2023, has emerged as a pivotal healthcare provider in Jammu & Kashmir, offering advanced medical services locally. The hospital, led by Dr. Jatinder Arora, Zonal Director, and Dr. Santy Sajan, Group COO, Paras Health, has been instrumental in addressing the healthcare needs of the region with a focus on compassion, affordability, and accessibility.
Since its establishment, Paras Health Srinagar has made significant strides in treating complex medical conditions, successfully executing several advanced surgeries and life-saving procedures. The hospital’s medical team has handled critical cases, including primary angioplasty for an elderly patient with a massive heart attack and comorbidities, a successful liver resection for a patient with CLD and Hepatitis B, and a complex neurosurgical procedure on a 14-year-old with a pineal region tumor.
In addition to its clinical achievements, Paras Health Srinagar has been actively involved in community outreach, organizing nearly 100 health camps across Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh, benefiting approximately 2,500 people. The hospital has also conducted numerous Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions, engaging around 1,000 doctors in the region to enhance their skills and knowledge.
