Reasi Police organises Local Wrestling Competition

Reasi, Mar 14: Reasi police organised a big Dangal competition at Kalka mandir Akhara Reasi under Civic Action Programme of Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Around 70 wrestlers from different part of the UT participate in the wrestling matches at kalaka mandir Akhara where huge gathering of people from all over Reasi district witnesses the well organised Mega Event by Reasi Police.
A total of around 35 rounds takes place in the event where different wrestlers in different weight compete with each other and get cash prizes as decided by the organising committee. 
 
The main Event/ Final match was held between the wrestler Babba of Jammu Akhara and Surjeet Singh of Reasi Akhara. Both players fought well in the match and finally wrestler Surjeet singh wins the title of Reasi Dangal.
 
Speaking on the occasion SSP Reasi Amit Gupta – JKPS said that Reasi police is committed to give platform youths of the district for excellence in every field whether it is sports or Education. He further added that different event in every nook and corner of the district is organised under CAP for shaping the talent of youngsters and keeping them away from other immoral activities. SSP Reasi also accompanied by District wrestling federation Reasi members and DySP HQ Reasi Neeraj Padyar- JKPS and SHO Reasi Vijay sharma.
