Srinagar, Oct 31: Amid cold weather, the School Education Department Monday announced new timing for class work in the Kashmir division with immediate effect from Tuesday.
In this regard, an order was issued by the Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) Tassaduq Hussain Mir.
Mir said “All the government and recognized private schools of Kashmir Division falling within Municipal limits of Srinagar city shall observe class work from 10am to 3pm while the schools falling outside the Municipal limits of Srinagar shall observe class work 10.30am to 3.30 pm from November-01.”
Pertinently, the meteorological department has forecasted of rain or snowfall and colder days from the first week of November.
The department has predicted the possibility of rain in plains and snow in middle and higher reaches during November-02 to November-06 in the Kashmir region.
