Jammu, Jan 03: Apni Party leaders and workers on Friday welcomed the Nagar Kirtan procession. The procession, comprising Sikh devotees—both men and women—originated from Gurdwara Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev in Chand Nagar, Jammu. It passed through various key locations before culminating at Gurdwara Singh Sabha in Nanak Nagar.
At Gandhi Nagar, where the Apni Party’s Jammu office is located, party leaders gathered to welcome the participants of the Nagar Kirtan and served them refreshments.
The prominent party leaders who were present on this occasion, included Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, Provincial President Jammu Manjit Singh, Faqir Nath, Arun Chibber, Bodh Raj, Aijaz Kazmi, Prem Lal, Pavneet Kour, Vaibhav Mattoo, Raqiq Khan, Dalbir Singh, Neelam Gupta, Balbir Singh, Ritu Pandita, Sheetal Sharma, and others.
Pertinently, the event was organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, the tenth and last Guru of Sikhs.
