Srinagar, Oct 22: Apni Party’s Senior Vice President, Ghulam Hassan Mir on Tuesday led a delegation of key party leaders to visit the Budgam residence of the bereaved family of Dr Shahnawaz Ahmad Dar, who was killed along with six labourers in a terror attack in the Gagangeer area of Ganderbal district on Sunday evening.
Mir was accompanied by the party’s General Secretary, Rafi Ahmad Mir, Provincial Vice President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Chief Spokesperson Muntazir Mohiuddin, and others during the condolence visit.
According to a press release issued here, the party leaders met with the bereaved family members and extended their heartfelt condolences. They prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and for patience and strength for the grieving family to bear this profound loss.
Speaking on the occasion, Mir said, “No words are enough to express one’s grief over such an extreme tragedy. The entire leadership of the Apni Party stands in solidarity with the bereaved family during this hour of grief. May the Almighty grant them the strength to endure this profound loss.”
He added, “We also extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the non-local labourers who lost their lives in this horrific terrorist attack.”
