Samba admin directs strict adherence of CUG sims

Srinagar, Feb 08: In a bid to streamline services and improve accessibility, the District Administration Samba on Thursday ordered strict adherence of CUG sims to Patwaries to ensure institutionalization of the Offices.
Speaking to Rising Kashmir, Deputy Commissioner Samba Abhishek Sharma said that the Revenue Department distributed CUG Sims to Patwaries in District Samba to ensure 24×7 availability of Patwaries to address public concerns related to Revenue Department services.
He said that the Patwaries are mandated to keep their mobile phones with CUG Sims operational at all times, allowing them to receive calls from the general public seeking redressal for various issues.
He said that the move aligns with the online service mandate of the Revenue Department to enhance the communication channels between officials and citizens.
As part of the directive, Patwaries are instructed to remain physically available at their respective or designated Patwar Halgas/Offices during scheduled days and times, he said adding that the strategic approach aims to facilitate a more efficient and responsive system for addressing public grievances and providing essential services.
The implementation of CUG Sims is a step towards the institutionalization of the Patwari offices and to boost connectivity and communication between officials and the public.
Meanwhile an order undersigned by Deputy Commissioner Samba reads that in order to ensure institutionalization of the offices of the Patwaries, CUG Sims were distributed to the Patwaries of district Samba.
It further reads that as per mandatem online services of Revenue Department and PSGA all the GQs/Patwaries are directed to ensure their mobile phones with CUG Sims shall remain on 24×7 to receive phone calls of general public for Redressal of various issues regarding services provided by the Revenue Department to general public.
It is further ordered to all Patwaries for strict compliance of directions to remain physically available at their respective designated Patwar Halqas/Offices as per scheduled days and time in terms of Circular directions issued vide No. No. 03-JK-(Rev.) of 2022 dated 28.03.2022 by Revenue Department under endorsement No. REV-Genl/99/2022(163831), it added.
