The Lieutenant Governor commended the security forces for the recent success of ‘Operation Sindoor’, which led to the neutralisation of multiple terrorists over the past few days. He appreciated the coordinated efforts of the armed forces, intelligence agencies, and J&K Police in maintaining peace and order.
Emphasizing the importance of continued vigilance, Sinha directed all security agencies to conduct intelligence-led, precision operations aimed at eliminating terrorist threats and dismantling support networks. He reiterated the administration’s resolve toward achieving a ‘terror-free J&K’.
The security preparedness for the Shri Amarnathji Yatra, scheduled to take place from July 3 to August 9, 2025, was also extensively reviewed. The Lieutenant Governor instructed senior officers to take all necessary steps to ensure the safety and smooth conduct of the sacred pilgrimage.
