Srinagar, Jan 27: The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) on Monday appointed new media coordinators to ensure that the voices of students from Jammu and Kashmir are effectively represented at both regional and national levels. The decision was made by the Central Working Committee of the association after multiple deliberations and based on performance. The newly appointed media coordinators are: Dr. Adil Hassan, Faheem ul Islam, Anfoo Mahajan, Sadia Masoodi, and Krishna Saproo.

This newly-formed team is tasked with providing comprehensive support to the student community, enhancing communication, and fostering collaboration among students. Rohool Banka will serve as the Chief Media Coordinator and oversee various institutions and coordinators, ensuring smooth operations and efficient coordination across teams.

Mushtaq Habeeb, Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Students Association, congratulated the new appointees and urged them to prioritize the welfare, safety, and security of students. He encouraged them to build strong teams and work towards increasing membership in their respective regions, emphasizing the importance of their roles in supporting the student community.

“These new appointments are expected to infuse fresh energy into the association, revitalizing its efforts and strengthening its commitment to supporting the student community,” said Habeeb. He also noted that the heads of the state bodies would work closely with the Central Working Committee (CWC) of JKSA to resolve issues and advocate for the needs of students.

The association is confident that the new media coordinators will play a crucial role in furthering JKSA’s goals and objectives, enhancing the representation of students across Jammu and Kashmir.
