Jammu, June 04: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu-Kashmir unit on Tuesday distributed sweets and celebrated the “landslide” victory in Maharashtra, especially on the four seats of Mumbai and the better performance of the party in the entire state.
The Shiv Sainiks gathered under the leadership of party state chief Manish Sahni and congratulated each other. They raised slogans of Shiv Sena and ‘Uddhav Bala Saheb Thackeray Zindabad’.
Sahni, according to a party statement issued here, said that Lok Sabha 2024 was an election to prove its existence.
“As part of efforts to eradicate us, we were divided into two factions, our name; even the election symbol was snatched away. The party chief Uddhav Saheb Thackeray, following the footsteps of Vandania Bala Saheb Thackeray, fought the election with full fearlessness and hard work, won the trust of the people and succeeded in giving better results,” he said.
Manish said the unity of Maha Vikas Aghadi in Maharashtra proved to be stronger than the two dozen rallies and roadshows of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“The people have rejected dictatorship and the politics of arrogance and hatred,” he said.
On the occasion, the party’s General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, President Kamgar Wing Raj Singh, Vice President Shashipal, Secretary Rakesh Handa, Mangu Ram, Sham Lal, Rohit Kumar, Munish Kumar, Harjeet Singh, Ashok Kumar, etc were present.
