Speaking on the occasion, Joint Director Agriculture Extension stressed upon implementing the programme in letter in spirit for the development of organic production in UT of J&K.
Prof. Parmeet Singh, Deputy Director (I&P), Directorate of Extension delivered his presentation on alternate agriculture system which aims at the non-conventional methods to seek sustainable performances, while optimizing all agro- ecosystem resources. There is lot of scope in 30000 ha organic area in J&K, he said.

Bisati, Associate Prof. (Associated Scientist) Directorate of Extension, SKUAST-K, Officers of Department of Agriculture & Scientists of KVK’s.
