Following fresh snowfall in parts of Kashmir valley, Mughal and SSG roads have been closed due to accumulation of snow, officials said here on Friday.
“In the wake of recent snowfall, the Mughal Road and SSG Road have been temporarily closed to vehicular traffic,” an official said.
However, he said that there is relief for commuters on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW or NH-44) as it remains open for smooth traffic movement.
Earlier, the official told that Gulmarg, a well-known tourist destination, experienced snowfall. Simultaneously, Gurez, Karnah, Shopian, Tulail, and other elevated areas in the Kashmir Valley witnessed ongoing snowfall.(KNS).
