Budgam, Oct 24: The Sakhawat Centre, a revered educational institution, is elated to announce the awarding of Merit Cum Means Scholarships to 125 exceptional students from Budgam District. The scholarship ceremony took place at the prestigious Iqbal Institute of Technology and Management on Tuesday.
 
Distinguished guests and esteemed personalities graced the occasion, including Irfan Ali Shah, an eminent figure from the Indian Forest Service (IFS), who honored the event as the chief guest, sharing his valuable experiences and insights with the scholarship recipients.
 
The ceremony was further embellished with the presence of the following notable guests: Dr. Yusuf-ul-Omer, Administrator of the Sakhawat Centre, Muhammad Amin Qureshi, Secretary of the Iqbal Memorial Trust (IMT), Shabir Ahmad Paul, Administrator of the Sakhawat Centre Budgam, Mir Mohammad Ashraf, Secretary of the Sakhawat Centre Jammu & Kashmir, Dr. Rizwan A. Thakur, Director of the Iqbal Institute of Technology and Management (IITM)
 
The Merit Cum Means Scholarship program is an admirable initiative aimed at providing support to students who exhibit outstanding academic performance and financial need. The Sakhawat Centre’s objective in awarding these scholarships is to empower the youth of Budgam District, facilitating their pursuit of higher education and realization of their aspirations.
Dr. Yusuf-ul-Omer Administrator of the Sakhawat Centre, expressed immense pleasure in observing the talent and dedication of the scholarship recipients.
