Anantnag, Sep 02: The Department of Youth Services & Sports Anantnag has taken a decisive step towards nurturing young talent in the region by inaugurating the highly anticipated district-level U/14 Boys’ Football Tournament at the Sports Stadium Anantnag. The momentous event was graced by the Chairman of the Sports Council Stadium Anantnag, marking the official commencement of this thrilling competition.
The tournament witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students from all eight zones within the district. With an ambiance filled with sporting fervor, the football matches unfolded under the watchful eyes of a substantial number of spectators who came to support and encourage the budding athletes.

Zone Shangus orchestrated a Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament, open to both boys and girls aged 17 and 14, while Zone Achabal hosted a Cricket tournament targeting individuals aged 14 and 17.
