Srinagar, Oct 26: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference chief spokesperson and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq on Saturday said the doors of the Omar-led government are open for all sections in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the back-to-back meetings with delegations of medical graduates and rickshaw drivers at party headquarters Nawa e Subah, Tanvir said the J&K government is committed to providing support to all to improve their lives.
He assured the delegations that the government’s doors are always open to offer assistance. The delegations raised their concerns with the chief spokesperson, who promised to bring these issues to the attention of the chief minister for prompt action, the party said in a statement issued here.
Tanvir referenced the party manifesto, which outlines 12 guarantees and other promises, as a guide to addressing the public’s grievances. He reassured the delegations that the government, under the leadership of Omar Abdullah, will work diligently to fulfill all commitments.
“Omar Abdullah-led government is dedicated to overhauling the governance framework to be more accessible and accountable, with a focus on inclusive development,” he said.
“Addressing longstanding issues in Jammu and Kashmir such as unemployment, infrastructure deficiencies, and neglected sectors like tourism, health, and education is a top priority for the Omar Abdullah-led administration,” Sadiq said adding, “The government is committed to tackling these challenges head-on and transforming the region for the better. Youth employment and creating safe environments for them to pursue their careers are key objectives for the government.”
He said ensuring optimal working conditions for transport workers is also a fundamental aspect of the party’s pro-people agenda. “We are unwavering in our commitment to fulfilling our promises and improving the lives of all residents in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
