The Haj Committee of India on Friday issued a clarification regarding rumors circulating on social media about changes in the schedule for the upcoming Haj pilgrimage.
As per the statement issued here, Intending Pilgrims for Haj 2024 are urged not to believe in these rumors. The Committee strongly denies any such changes and confirms that the schedule remains unchanged up to May 15, 2023, as approved by the authorities.
Pilgrims have been allocated flight schedules extending up to May 31, 2024, which are available on the official website of the Haj Committee of India. However, in rare cases, changes may occur due to non-availability of Haj visas. In such instances, affected pilgrims are individually notified by the JK Haj Committee via telephone at least 48 hours before their scheduled departure or postponement, it said.
