Jammu, Nov 10: A delegation from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jammu and Kashmir, led by Mr Archit Puri, Chairman of CII J&K UT Council, held a meeting with Mr Inderjeet, Managing Director of JKSIDCO.
The primary focus of the meeting was to address critical issues related to industrial development and ease of doing business in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, according to a press release issued here.
During the discussions, the delegation expressed concerns about the extension of provisional registration for industrial units under the New Policy. The CII J&K UT Council also proposed the establishment of a working mechanism between JK SIDCO, the Power Department, and the Pollution Control Board.
In response, Mr Inderjeet acknowledged the significance of resolving these pressing issues faced by the industrial sector. He assured the delegation that the department would take proactive steps to address the challenges encountered by industries. Mr Inderjeet urged the delegation to bring any on-the-ground issues or concerns to his attention, ensuring that action would be taken based on merit.
