Verinag, Nov 05: Former Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir Saturday visited fire victims of YakadboruBala in Kapran area of Verinag in South Kashmir and took stock of the losses.
Mir expressed anguish over the losses due to the unfortunate fire incident in the village.
Former Congress President met the fire victims of YakadboruKapran(Verinag) and expressed dismay over the devastation caused to houses while terming the incident as most unfortunate and heart wrenching.
It was tragic to learn about the fire incident which has devastated many families, Mir added and urged the Govt to fully rehabilitate the fire victims and also extend all help to them by way of clothes, essentials and construction material enabling them to sustain the winter season and rebuild their houses.
Mir also expressed disappointment over the losses caused to mosque and also demanded its immediate renovation
