JAMMU, Sept 11: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, BD Mishra, reaffirmed the unwavering stance that not an inch of Indian territory has been occupied by China. He assured that India’s armed forces are fully prepared to deliver a resolute response to any misadventure in its territory.
The LG made these remarks while responding to media inquiries during the inauguration of the three-day North Tech Symposium held at IIT Jammu.
When asked about Rahul Gandhi’s comments regarding China’s alleged occupation of a substantial portion of Ladakh’s land, the LG refrained from commenting directly on any specific statements. Instead, he stated, “I won’t comment on anybody’s statement. The fact is, because I have seen for myself on the ground, not even one square inch of our land has been occupied by China.”
He further emphasized, “We are in occupation of our land to the last inch,” reiterating the Indian government’s unwavering position on territorial integrity.
