Srinagar, June 20: RSGC is organising its Club Golf Tournaments as per its schedule calendar for the year 2025 which commenced on June 19. The Four Ball Tournament,Best Ball (Partner by Choice) to be played over 5 days, the tournament is being conducted on match play knockout format basis., the leading golfers of the club are participating in it including few lady members.
Three matches were conducted on the first day with the following results:
1. Qazi Fasi / Irfan Khan beat Abdul Hamid Wani / Dr. Altaf Umar Ramzan won in the closely conducted match on the 17th hole.
2. Dr Asif Ali Khanday / Shahid Parvaiz defeated Rubeena Farooq / Shabnum Mir on the 14th hole.
3. The other 2 matches received walkover.
The members have shown enthusiasm and keen interest in organizing the said event, the secretary RSGC assured that organising of such events will be a routine affair to keep the Golf course vibrant and playful.
