Srinagar, March 09: In celebration of CISF Week-2025, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) Unit ASG Srinagar organised a blood donation camp at the COVID hall, in collaboration with Soura hospital, Srinagar. The initiative, held as part of the 56th foundation day celebrations, underscores the CISF’s commitment to both national security and humanitarian service.
The camp was inaugurated by Senior Commandant, Avadhesh Pratap Singh, with active participation from CISF Deputy Commandant Pushpendra Singh Tanwar, Chief Medical Officer of Soura Hospital Dr Zubair, CISF officers, jawans, and volunteers. Under the supervision of Senior Medical Officer Dr Zubair, Counsellor Mehbooba Jan, and Dr Pranavi, a total of 45 units of blood were donated.
Beyond its role in safeguarding critical national infrastructure, the CISF has consistently championed public welfare initiatives, reinforcing its dedication to social responsibility. Such initiatives highlight the force’s selfless spirit and unwavering commitment to serving society in times of need, making a tangible difference in the lives of many.
