Srinagar, 11 Feb: The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference General Secretary and MLA Khanyar Ali Muhammad Sagar Tuesday urged the divisional administration to ensure smooth observance of Shab-e-Baraat at all major shrines across Kashmir, especially at Asar-e-Sharief Hazratbal.
In a statement released from the party headquarters, Sagar emphasized the significance of Shab-e-Barat and the surge in the number of devotees visiting shrines and mosques across Kashmir. He urged the administration to wake up to the situation and provide seamless facilities for the devotees. Sagar stressed the need for civil administration wings to collaborate with shrine and mosque managements to enhance the experience for devotees.
He called for adequate transport facilities to major shrines and Jamia Masjid, as well as ensuring proper electricity and water supply throughout the holy night. It is imperative that the administration takes immediate action to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for all devotees.
