Jammu, Nov 30: Vicass Santoosh Pandita, Managing Director of SR TechnoMed Pvt. Ltd., has taken a significant step toward promoting India’s rich knowledge heritage by sponsoring a series of talks by Dr. Raj Nehru on his transformative book “I Am Shiva”.
These sessions aim to introduce the youth to the profound philosophy of Pratibijya, a core concept of Advait Kashmir Shaivism, and its relevance in fostering sustainable thinking and personal growth.
As part of this initiative, Sh. Pandita also distributed free copies of I Am Shiva among students, ensuring that the essence of this ancient wisdom reaches young minds. The sessions were attended by students, educators, and knowledge seekers, offering insights into consciousness, creativity, and authenticity that align with both nature and societal well-being.
Pratibijya, meaning “self-recognition,” emphasizes the realization of one’s true self as a reflection of universal consciousness. This philosophy, deeply rooted in Indian Knowledge Systems, provides a framework for sustainable living, encouraging ideation, creativity, and authenticity. It nurtures the ability to think holistically, paving the way for innovations that harmonize with nature and address societal challenges.
Through this collaboration, both Dr. Raj Nehru and Sh. Vicass Santoosh Pandita aim to inspire the youth to explore their creative potential while contributing to a balanced and ethical society.
Dr Raj Nehru said that, “I Am Shiva was born out of my quest to answer the age-old question, ‘Who am I?’ The philosophy of Pratibigya, rooted in Kashmir Shaivism, holds the key to self-recognition and transformation. This knowledge is not just a spiritual awakening but a call to align our thoughts and actions with the greater good of humanity and nature. I am deeply grateful to Sh. Vicass Santoosh Pandita for his commitment to spreading this timeless wisdom. It is my hope that our youth will find purpose and creativity in these teachings, empowering them to build a sustainable and harmonious future.”
In his message, Sh. Vicass Santoosh Pandita said that, “I have always believed in the power of knowledge to transform societies, and the philosophy of Pratibijya is a testament to this belief. Dr. Raj Nehru’s book I Am Shiva is a guiding light for today’s generation, bridging the gap between ancient wisdom and modern challenges. By sponsoring these sessions, I aim to ignite a spark of curiosity and self-discovery among the youth, enabling them to think creatively, act authentically, and lead sustainably. It is my privilege to contribute to this noble cause and ensure that the profound heritage of Kashmir Shaivism continues to inspire generations.”
