Ganderbal, Oct 10:Continuing its path of development as the leading innovation led farm University, SKUAST-Kashmir is going to hold the coveted International Conference on “AgriTech Intelligence and Beyond: Cutting Edge Innovations in Agriculture and Allied Sciences” (AI-CIAS) from 15-17Oct. 2024.
The event is being held at Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, Shuhama in a hybrid mode with more than 500 expected participants taking part in this 3 day mega event from all across the globe. The distinguished gathering will comprise of scholars from Medical, Agriculture, Veterinary and Aquaculture sciences to share their expertise and engage in interdisciplinary dialogue. The event is being organized by the Division of Veterinary Biochemistry, FVSc & AH, SKUAST-K in collaboration with and active of Agriculture Forum for Technical Education of Farming Society (AFTEFS). The conference has a due CME (Continuing Medical Education) accreditation from JK Medical Council of 12 CME credits for participants from medical fraternity.
The high point of conference is the involvement of key note speakers from different parts of world including USA, UAE, Uzbekistan and Srilanka. The various technical sessions planned for the event will cover the theme of the conference in its holistic and practically applicable manner. A comprehensive joint symposium is also on the list with scope of convergence of diverse specializations at one common platform to effectively address the issues of prime concern.
The event can provide participants an active platform to forge collaborative networks with professionals working on different aspects of technology usage for the advancement of knowledge base and search of optimum solutions.
The ultimate aim of the conference is to sensitize all stakeholders on leveraging and better use of modern technologies especially Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Agri-allied sectors. It is pertinent to mention here that SKUAST-K has been the pioneer in use of technology in Agriculture by establishing state of art AI & Ml centre at its Shalimar campus, first among the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs).
