Ganderbal, Aug 25: Rajinder Singh Tara, Director General Department of Youth Services & Sports J&K on his maiden visit to the Government College of Physical Education Gadoora Ganderbal took a review of both completed and ongoing infrastructural projects at the institution. He had an exhausting session with District Youth Services and Sports Officer Ganderbal, Executive Engineer R&B and Executive Engineer J&K Sports Council.
During his visit, he meticulously toured the Girls/Boys Hostel, assessing the array of facilities provided for the comfortable stay of the college students.
Subsequently, he proceeded to the Synthetic Athlete Track, where he meticulously inspected the ongoing developments. He also scrutinized the recently completed Badminton Indoor Hall, where he conveyed his contentment with the good quality of craftsmanship, envisioning its optimal utilization for the benefit of all. Emphasizing the importance of adherence to timelines, he urged the engineers to ensure the timely completion of the projects to prevent unnecessary cost overruns.
Venturing further, he explored the college Library, Smart Classrooms, In-house college health center, and other amenities.
During his visit, he was engaged in a meaningful interaction with
students from BPEd Semester-II & Semester-IV and MPEd Semester-III.
