Srinagar, July 27: Following the directives from the All Jammu & Kashmir Bank Officers’ Federation, the affiliated units in Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir and Maharashtra have submitted resolutions to the Divisional/Zonal Managements of the bank in their respective regions.
“These resolutions, passed during meetings of their office bearers and executive committees, express serious concerns over the delay in implementing the wage revision settlement reached on March 8, 2024, in Mumbai, an official statement issued here said, adding, “The settlement was negotiated between national bank staff unions, representing the staff, and the Indian Banks Association (IBA), representing the managements, including the management of JK Bank.”
The resolutions call on the bank’s management to expedite the implementation of the agreed-upon wage revision. They also urge the federation to begin a direct action program if the management fails to initiate the implementation within the coming week.
