1st phase of District Level Inter Zonal Tournament concludes at Sports Stadium Doda

Doda, June 14: The first phase of the District Level Inter Zonal Tournament concluded with great fervor and enthusiasm at Sports Stadium Doda.
The event, organized by the Youth Services and Sports Department Doda, saw participation from over 2000 athletes representing various zones.
As per the approved Calendar of Activities issued by the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports, J&K, the tournament was conducted under the guidance of Director Youth Services & Sports J&K UT, Subash Chander Chhibber and Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh and overall supervision was led by DYSSO Doda, Sunil Kumar.
The competition featured a wide array of disciplines including Kabaddi, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Tug-of-War, Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis, Fencing, Badminton, Taekwondo, Yoga, and Wushu.
These competitions serve as a platform to identify and select the best talents for future competitions.
During his address, DYSSO Doda extended gratitude to all participants, officials, and supporters for their contributions towards making the event a resounding success. He emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of sports excellence and holistic development among the young athletes of District Doda.
In the presence of ZPEO Doda, Head Assistant Rajan, Activity Incharge Sanjay Sharma, and Vikram Chandail, DYSSO Doda distributed certificates, trophies, and medals among the winners and runner-ups.
