Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education and Director SCERT Prof. Dr. Parikshat Singh Manhas visited District Doda.
The visiting Diginitory was warmly welcomed by Principal District Institute of Education and Training Doda Purshotam Gouria on his arrival in the district.
During the visit, the Director enquired about the status of various interventions currently under operation at training Institute including the recently conducted Middle Standard Examination, Trainings of Teachers, Preparation of Annual Plan, Action Research etc.
The Chairman interacted with staff members and exhorted them to utilize their full potential to make the training institute vibrant.
He also visited ICT Lab. of the institute where different training programmes are being conducted with the aim to fulfill the Digital Initiatives taken for teaching learning process.
The Director also reviewed the status of under construction DIET building at Mochhan Doda and hoped the same will be completed by the executing agencies during the current financial year.
The Director further directed the Principal of the Institute to start training program for Teachers under current AWP so that the teachers update their pedagogical skills.
During the visit, the Director SCERT was accompanied by Sh. Suraj Rathore Joint Secretary Exam JK BOSE, Sh.Kuldeep Sharma Deputy Secretary, Sh. Ranjeet Singh Manhas, Sh. Sunil Sharma, Rajesh Hali Senior Academic Officers Central Move Office and Assistant Secretary JK BOSE office Doda.
