The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Shopian, Faz Lul Haseeb today chaired a meeting of District Task Force at Mini-Secretariat, here to review the strategies and execution of initiatives pertaining to the Pulse Polio agenda slated for March 3, 2024, encompassing the entire district.
The meeting deliberated upon the scheduled undertakings for National Immunization Day, with a focal point on propagating the theme ‘Vaccines Work for All’ for India’s National Immunization Day.
Throughout the deliberation, DC directed the health department functionaries to ensure optimal dissemination and consciousness-raising regarding the imminent National Pulse Polio.
He implored the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zainapora to synchronize efforts with health department personnel to arrange all requisite arrangements for the occasion. He assured full support from the district administration and urged all to coordinate with health department officials to make all necessary arrangements for the event.
