Samba, March 30: Former Minister and Chairman SC,ST,OBC Wing of Aam Aadmi Party Yashpal Kundal Thursday alleged that the BJP has failed to deliver what it had promised to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a statement issued by the party, Kundal was speaking at a party convention at Ramgarh Constituency where DDC member and Senior Leader AAP Taranjit Singh Tony were also present.
He said BJP has failed to bring down prices of petroleum despite the crude oil prices falling in the international market.
“The BJP sought vote in the name of inflation control but on the contrary, inflation skyrocketed during the BJP rule,” he said.
While addressing the convention Kundal asked party workers as well as people to gear up for the Assembly, Panchayat as well as Municipal elections. He said that the party workers should remain ready for the elections notwithstanding the fact that elections have not been announced.
He said that there is growing annoyance of the public with the BJP in J&K. BJP has failed to deliver what it had promised to the people. People from all walks of life are suffering and BJP is adding fuel to the fire.
The AAP leader said that the BJP government is showing the same adamant behaviour which was exhibited by Congress when the latter was in power. He said that BJP shall also meet the same fate as that of Congress.
While addressing the gathering, Taranjit Singh Tony said that BJP has even failed to take selection processes to logical ends in a fair and transparent manner and the selection processes have been marred by large scale corruption and the valuable time of the job aspirants has been wasted due to inefficiency of the government.
