Budgam, Feb 04: The revenue authorities in Budgam district demolished an outer wall of a former bureaucrat’s house near the Srinagar Airport in the Humhama area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday and retrieved one kanal of Kahcharai land from his house.
An official from the Revenue Department told the Rising Kashmir that the outer wall of the main gate of the former bureaucrat Farooq Renzu Shah’s residence was demolished near the airport in the Humhama area as part of the government’s demolition drive against the “land grabbers.”
“Renzu Shah’s home in the Humhama is in the name of his wife, identified as Anjum Sultan,” an official said.
During his tenure with the services in Jammu and Kashmir, Farooq Renzu Shah has served as Deputy Commissioner of Budgam and Director of the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), and he is currently the Chairman of Jamaat-e-Aitqaad International.
