Early preparation must to crack civil services:  DC G’bl to CUK students

Ganderbal, Aug 10: Department of Law, School of Legal Studies (SLS), Central University of Kashmir (CUK), in collaboration with Ganderbal Chronicles “Capturing Lives, Inspiring Hearts,” organized an extension lecture “How to Prepare for Civil Services”, by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Mr. Shayimbir.
Addressing the students, scholars and faculty members, Mr. Shayimbir, who was the guest of honour, shared valuable tricks and tips for students aspiring to crack the IAS examinations. He emphasized the importance of early preparation and strategic planning from the outset. DDC Ganderbal also discussed potential obstacles that aspirants might face and urged students never to lose their morale in the face of setbacks.
Speaking on the occasion, Head and Dean SLS, Prof. Farooq Ahmad Mir, underscored the significance of such events and highlighted the Department’s commitment to provide a space for intellectual discourse and professional development. “This event, in particular, demonstrated the Department’s dedication to fostering an environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and lifelong learning.”
The event provided a platform that brought together a diverse audience, including students, faculty members, professionals, and enthusiasts, eager to delve into the nuanced facets of preparing for civil services.
Asst Professors Bilal Ahmed Ganai gave the welcome address while Dr Mudasir Bhat conducted the event proceedings and briefed the participants about Mr. Shayimbirs’ working and academic achievements.
Mr. Bilal Ahmed Ganai, proposed the vote of thanks and Dr. Imran Ahad served as the rapporteur.
