Jammu, Apr 21: Apni Party on Friday paid floral tributes to five Indian Army soldiers who were killed in a militant attack in Poonch.
In a statement issued by the party, a function was organized at Party Office in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu to pay floral tributes to the fallen soldiers.
Spokesperson said the Apni Party leaders assembled in the premises of the party office and offered floral tributes to the photos of five Indian Army soldiers who were martyred in the terror attack in Poonch.
Speaking on the occasion, the Provincial President Jammu, and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh expressed grief over the incident in which the soldiers have lost their lives in the terror attack which was carried out by the cowardly terrorists on the behest of Pakistan.
“This terror attack is an attempt to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in J&K. Therefore, the Govt of India must take revenge for the incident by launching a counter-terror operation in full scale. Besides, a detailed probe into the incident should be conducted to identify and punish the accused persons under the stringent laws,” he said.
He said that “The Pakistan does not want peace in J&K and uses their sympathizers to carry out cowardly acts against the people in general and the security forces in particular.”
Singh appreciated the role of security forces especially the Indian Army for maintaining peace and stability within and on the borders of Jammu and Kashmir.
He criticized the anti-peace elements who are bent upon to disturb peace in J&K. He said that the Govt of India should immediately summon the Pakistan High Commissioner and give a strong message to them.
