Committed to restoration of Mujahid Manzil: Kamaal

Srinagar, Apr 18: National Conference (NC) Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamal on Friday emphasised the significance of Mujahid Manzil, the heritage office of the party, saying the party is dedicated to revitalising it.
Addressing party members at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Kamal highlighted the historical importance of Mujahid Manzil in witnessing the party’s growth from its inception to becoming a deeply rooted and widespread political force in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Mujahid Manzil has been a witness to the struggles endured by party leaders, including Sheikh Sahib, in safeguarding our unique identity, fighting for our rights, and striving for the end of imperial rule,” he said in a statement.
Kamal stressed that Mujahid Manzil holds symbolic significance not only for the party but also for Jammu and Kashmir, representing the history of our democratic struggle. He reassured visiting delegations that the party is fully committed to reviving Mujahid Manzil, restoring its lost identity, and preserving its importance as a symbol of Kashmir’s democratic journey.
