AIMS Vijaypur doctors fail to provide proper patient care: Apni Party

Jammu, Mar 18: Apni Party’s senior leader and Provincial President, Manjit Singh on Tuesday alleged that All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Vijaypur (Samba), Jammu fails to provide adequate patient care.
In a statement issued here, Singh said, “People are frustrated by the absence of a reliable and well-structured patient care system in this premier institution. Despite the government having established this important institution with whopping investments, the doctors deployed here seem to be failing to perform their duties properly, causing widespread dissatisfaction among the people. A majority of patients seeking treatment at the hospital are being referred to GMC or other healthcare facilities.”
“This institution is supposed to provide comprehensive, quality, and holistic tertiary healthcare services to the people, as it is designed that way. AIIMS has everything except a proper mechanism to provide adequate care to the patients,” the Apni Party leader added.
