Srinagar, March 10: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has predicted a spell of intermittent rain and snow in Jammu and Kashmir from March 10 to 16.
According to the forecast, today (March 10) is expected to see intermittent light to moderate rain/snow at many places, with moderate snowfall over higher reaches of Kupwara, Bandipora, and Ganderbal.
On March 11, there is a Possibility of light rain/snow at isolated to scattered places.
Met Predicts Intermittent spell of light to moderate rain/snow at many places from March 12-14 .
March 15-16: Intermittent light to moderate rain/snow at many places.
March 17-21: Generally dry weather expected.
In view of the weather forecast, the authorities have issued advisories for travelers, tourists, transporters, and farmers.
Travelers, tourists, and transporters are advised to follow administrative and traffic advisories
Farmers are advised to suspend farm operations from March 10 to 16.
People are also advised to avoid sloppy and avalanche-prone areas.
