Srinagar, Sept 17 : An army personnel died, while another one was injured after a service rifle belonging to one of the army man accidently went off in Bapora area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
A police spokesman said that the accused army personnel has been detained and a legal action has been initiated against him.
“There has been an accidental discharge of weapons resulting in one fatal casualty and injury to one army personnel. Accused army personnel has been detained. Necessary legal action has been initiated against the involved army man,” he said.
