Srinagar, Feb 21: Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Lal Chowk, Ahsan Pardesi on Friday met several public and individual delegations at the National Conference headquarters here.
The delegates brought to his attention a number of issues, the party said in a statement, adding, “Ahsan promptly reached out to the administration to address these matters and assured the visiting delegations that he would also take up other pressing issues with the relevant ministries.”
Later in the day, Pardesi along with officials from the Flood Control Department conducted a comprehensive tour of several key areas, including Shivpora, Batwara, Aramwari, Kursu Raj Bagh and Gandbal.
During the visit, the MLA issued immediate directives to the officials regarding the protection and enhancement of bunds and embankments, emphasising the importance of both functionality and aesthetics.
Pardesi was joined by Er Sabiya Qadri, Provincial President of the Kashmir Women’s Wing and other party functionaries, underscoring the collective commitment to improving the region’s infrastructure.
