Srinagar, Jan 21: The National Mission for Unity and Brotherhood, under the leadership of Rakesh Saproo, is set to organize a seminar on the Revival of Shaivism in Kashmir from April 10th to 12th in the Kashmir Valley.
The event will be followed by a food festival celebrating the traditional Kashmiri Pandit cuisine.
In addition, the organisation will hold a smaller conference in Delhi on February 19th, focusing on “Kashmiri Shaivism: Its Meaning and Significance”. The conference aims to educate and engage people on the importance of Kashmiri Shaivism, exploring its historical and cultural relevance.
The upcoming seminar and conference will bring together scholars and eminent speakers to celebrate the rich Shaivite heritage, which has had a profound impact on the socio-cultural fabric of Jammu and Kashmir, as well as India as a whole.
Rakesh Saproo, the organiser, emphasised the importance of this initiative in reviving and promoting the unique cultural and spiritual legacy of Shaivism in the region.
