His legacy will continue to inspire new generations: Ashok Koul
Srinagar, Jammu 16: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday organised a programme here to honour the enduring legacy of Dr B. R. Ambedkar, the architect of India’s Constitution. The event was attended by prominent BJP leaders and members, who gathered to pay tribute to the illustrious statesman’s vision and unwavering commitment to social justice and equality.
At the forefront of the ceremony was Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organisation), J&K BJP, who delivered a stirring address to the gathering. Emphasising Dr Ambedkar’s pivotal contributions to the nation, Koul highlighted the statesman’s tireless efforts in advocating for the rights of marginalised communities. “Dr Ambedkar’s legacy is a beacon of hope for a more inclusive and progressive India,” he said, adding that the BJP is committed to upholding Dr Ambedkar’s ideals of equality, justice and empowerment for all sections of society.
The programme highlighted Dr Ambedkar’s vision, saying his relentless advocacy for social justice, education and economic empowerment has left an indelible mark on the nation’s trajectory. The party said his enduring legacy will continue to inspire new generations of leaders and citizens to work towards a more inclusive and progressive India.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Koul underscored the importance of following Dr Ambedkar’s legacy and ensuring that his vision remains a guiding force for future generations. “It is our collective responsibility to build upon the foundation laid by Dr Ambedkar, and to continue working tirelessly towards a society that is truly equal, just and empowering for all,” he said.
